To Take Attendance Class  ATT In “Class” Column, right click to specify type of absence. Click AT: SUBMIT when attendance is ready to be submitted. It will be time-stamped. If you need to make changes to attendance, click UN-SUBMIT, make changes, and click SUBMIT. However, if the office has already received your attendance, you will need to call or email your changes. The “Office Daily” column shows each student’s attendance for the day. *Alternate Methods for Attendance Attendance  “Weekly View” (Allows you to see past attendance and the total) Attendance  “Seating Chart” Right click to specify type of absence. Hide attendance columns by clicking ATT button

Grading Set-Up Grading Add/Weight Categories Add New Category Assign Colors to new categories Assign Weight or check “Do Not Weight” The pop-up will ask if you want to apply your selections to all visible sections.

To Add Assignments Class  + COLUMN Fill in blanks “Add To” allows you to add the assignment to multiple gradebooks. “Lock Column” keeps you from adding or removing grades in the column. “Count in Average” …if you do not want an assignment to be part of the grade, unclick the box. Unclick if you are not making an assignment public yet. “Shared” makes the grade column public. This can also be done in the gradebook view. “Add to PlusPortal” – the assignment shows up in the homework box on the portal.

To Add Grades Click to enter a grade or right click to “Enter Score” (a letter grade rather than a percentage). Batch Entry – Right click and select “Batch Entry” to fill in same score for all blanks/

To Provide Annotation Right click on box. Select “Enter Annotation from List.” Select type of annotation. Click “User Defined” to create your own annotation. Once you have learned the annotation codes, you can use the Annotation Mode. Class  ANNOTATION MODE Type annotation in the box

Finding Students QE (Quick Entry Button) Search by first letters in last name.

Blank Spreadsheet Reports Class  Blank Spreadsheet (If nothing shows up, you must enable the pop-up)

View Individual Students Report Reports  Student  Progress Report Or Right click on student name. Select “Progress Report.”

Generate Audit Reports (Complete Breakdown of Grades) Right click on a student’s average. Select “Audit Report.” These cannot be viewed on the portal, but you can save them as PDFs and email or mail them.

Report Card View Underneath the “Template Options” button, click the arrow and select “RC View.”

To View Student Demographics Individually - Click on the student name. All Students – Create a new template with just demographic information.
