Biome Mobile Requirements Your job is to make a Biome Mobile that reflects components (parts) of your particular biome. •

Your mobile hanger must have a title of the biome name on both sides of the hanger.

You must have 4 major sections to your mobile that hang down from the hanger. The top card must be the section titles (Climate, Flora, Fauna, and Location) written on both sides of the card.

All other information about that section hangs below the title card and is connected by string.

Each card should have title. All descriptions must be in your own words. Pictures must be hand drawn.

Climate •

On the front of the card, include a hand drawn picture showing an example of the climate. Consider drawing a scene. This could be a picture of a rainy scene if the climate is wet or a snowy scene if it is cold. On the back of the card should be a written description of the biome’s climate– be specific and detailed with your choice of vocabulary.

Include at least 4 plants (producers) that exist in your biome. Draw a colorful picture on the front. Label with the name of the plant. On the back, provide a written description of the plant.

Include at least 4 animals that live in your biome. Draw a colorful picture on the front. Label with the name of the animal. On the back label the animal and describe it in terms of how it fits into the food chain. In other words, what does it eat? Is it an herbivore, carnivore, omnivore, bacteria, or scavenger? What is its habitat? (Where does it live?)

On the front of the card, color the teacher provided map to show where your biome exists in the world. On the back, include a description of where the biome exists (on what continents, where on specific continents, and where it does not exist at all.)
