Partners for a Better Community Dear Guidance Counselor, We are excited to announce The Blanche R Dudley Character Scholarship, which is the fourth Partners for a Better Community scholarship. This scholarship is presented on behalf of the family and friends of Blanche Dudley who desire to honor her uncommon character and uplifting spirit which was shaped through Faith, Family and Fellowship. Blanche always provided encouraging words, loved unconditionally, served unselfishly and inspired others to be better than they were the day before. She was a blessing to all that crossed her path be it at school, church, home, camp, or in the workplace. Some examples of what we are looking for is a student who uplifts those around them, brings joy to those who cross his/her path and participates in community service through either church or volunteer activities. Other positive attributes may include someone who humbly serves others in time of need, exudes strong character, and is vigilantly positive despite the circumstances. Blanche’s family and friends are honored to present The Blanche R Dudley Character Scholarship in association with the Partners for a Better Community (PBC). It will be offered to the graduating class of 2018 (current juniors /11th graders in 2017) who are in good academic standing, having maintained a minimum of a 2.75 GPA. The requirements for The Blanche R Dudley Character Scholarship are as follows:    

GPA of 2.75 GPA Three to five minute video highlighting the student’s character with a focus on Faith, Family, and Fellowship. It is strongly recommended to have people speak on the student’s behalf in the video.
