Closing Exercises in French

Overview The French Language Summer Program is a three week mini-immersion program designed to build an “experiential bridge” as your child moves from the Elementary
French Program to the Intermediate French Program.
For students going to grade 7 who
have completed either the grade 6 Intensive Core French (ICF) program or the Core French (CF) program Located at Vanier Elementary School,

components of the elementary school French program and to supplement those experiences
Registration Information
Registration: Beginning on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 9:00 - 11:30 and from 1:00 - 3:00 at Vanier Elementary School. When paying by
cheque, please make payable to the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District. Registration will continue until June 10th . If you are not able to register during these times, please email
[email protected] or call 754-2440 to make alternate arrangements.
Registration Forms: Registration forms must be fully completed. Parents can pick up a registration form at Vanier Elementary, or you may email and one can be sent to you. Confirmation of Registration: Parents will be given a registration package from the school secretary upon registration. This will be the only communication from the French Language Summer Program to registrants before the June 27th start date. Receipt of this package implies confirmation of acceptance to the program.
Cost: A non-refundable $140.00 fee will be charged for each participant registering for the program. No partial fees will be considered for students who attend only a portion of the program, except in extenuating circumstances as determined by the program Director. Class Groupings: Students will be placed in class groupings. Every effort will be made to place each child with at least one friend. Children from specific schools will not necessarily be together in one class grouping, nor will students be placed in feeder school groupings.
