Camp Erin, the largest bereavement camp in the country, is designed for children and teens ages 6‐17 who have experienced the death of someone close to them. It is a weekend‐long experience filled with fun and tradi onal camp ac vi es combined with grief educa on and emo onal support – led by grief professionals and trained volunteers. Camp Erin provides a unique opportunity for peer bonding between children and teens facing a similar life circumstance.
How does a grieving child or teen benefit from Camp Erin?
They learn that they are not alone, and that there are others who share similar feelings. They learn that their feelings are perfectly normal. They have the opportunity to address their feelings and honor the person who died.
