Changeof Uniform Code for the categoryof staff working as Trains Clerks in Railwaysregi
Pursuant to the decision on 7'h CPC recommendations,instructions have been issued by the Railway Board vide letter No. PC-VIV20l7/ll7/5/7 aateaoyrclzol7 (RBE No. l4ll2017) for payment of Dress Allowance to the categoriesof Railway staff who are supplied uniforms and are required to wear them regularly (this includesthe categoryof Trains Clerk). In this connection, Federation desires to bring to the notice of Railway Board that the staff working as Pointsman and the Trains clerk are suppiied uniform which ur. or ci.y colour (shirt & Trouser)' There is persistent demand from Trains blerk category for change of ,Giey, colour of the Uniform (Dresscode). The Train clerks demandneedsconsiJeration for cliangingUniforms coulur as below:o .
White Shirt and Blue/Black Trouser
As the Railway Board has set up a Committeeof EDs to consider changesin DressCode for various categories ofstaff who are supplied Uniforms and are required to wear regularly while performing duties,NFIR suggeststo considlr changeof Dress Code of ','irains Clerk,, categoryto ..white Shirt and Blue/Black Trouser" in order to differentiate them with other categoriesand to raise their satisfactionlevel. NFIR, therefore,requeststhe Railway Board to considerthe above proposal for changeof Dress code of Trains clerk categoryaccordingly.A copy of the instructions iszuea'.uy be endorsedto the Federation.
