Conclusion As regardsstitching charges, the ratesnotified by DOP&T are followed by Ministry of Railways. However, the three EDs' Committeehas recommendedthat uniform stitching chargesare linked to DearnessAllowance increasesand there is an annual increasein stitching chargesat the same rate as annual increasein DA. he recommendationafter approvalby Board will automaticallybe applicablefor Diesel ShedStaff. It is proposedthat the categoriesas at Annexure I above recommendedby the CMPE(Diesel)may be made eligible for uniform for Diesel Loco Shedsall over Indian Railway. The colour schememay be kept as Dark Grey as suggestedby both the Federations. The scaleof supply should be as per existing provision in the Dress Regulations-2}D4for similarcategories.
