The IX National Control Instrumentation System Conference (CISCON-2012) will be held during Nov 16th-17th, 2012, at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipal, Karnataka, India. Established in 1957, MIT is one of the top ranking institutions for Engineering and Technology in the country. The Institute is located in a campus spreading over 160 acres amidst picturesque surroundings. MIT offers graduation studies in 15 disciplines and postgraduate courses in 24 disciplines.
Eminent keynote speakers from academic institutions, industries and R & D institution will be invited to deliver special lectures on specific topics.
The Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering was started in the year 2001 at Manipal Institute of Technology. The department has an intake of 120 students per year. The department has well equipped state of the art laboratories. The Department also offers two M.Tech Courses: i) Control Systems ii) Astronomy & Space Engineering. The Department also offers Ph.D program in various areas of control systems and space technology.
Participants: Academicians, engineers from industries, R & D personnel, researchers and industrialist from different parts of the country are invited to participate in the conference.

Call for Papers One copy of the full paper not exceeding 6 pages, as per IEEE double column MS word format on any of the above and related topics should be sent to the convener by email. The abstract of the accepted papers received with full registration fees will be published in the proceedings of the conference. Also full papers will be published in the form of a CD. Authors are requested to send their papers in editable format. PDF format will not be accepted.

Manipal is a coastal town in Karnataka State, in South India, about 150 meters above sea level and about 10 km from the Arabian Sea. The town is just 5 km from the renowned temple town Udupi and 60 km from the port city of Mangalore. It nestles between the hill ranges of the Western Ghats and the blue water of the Arabian Sea. The Climate is humid and Warm between November –May with fine breeze throughout the day and the temperature ranges from 240 C to 0 30 C . Manipal is well connecting by rail, road and air. Plenty of buses ply between Manipal & Mangalore. The nearest Railway Station is Udupi, 3 km from Manipal. The nearest airport is at Bajpe, Mangalore, one and half hours drive by road, has daily flight to and from Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.
