THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE AND LIFE SCIENCES DEAN'S LEADERSHIP 50 2016-17 The UA CALS Dean’s Leadership 50 is a student leadership program dedicated to the development of management and entrepreneurial skills. Members of the group are outstanding young men and women representing all majors in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the University of Arizona.

Connor Bagnall Major: B.S in Environmental Science Career Goal: To work in and/or become the head of a Department of Energy Hometown: Detroit, MI What is one goal you would like to accomplish in your lifetime? To become a part of a future in which clean, sustainable energy becomes the norm for large countries and can still be beneficial economically.

Mely Bohlman Major: B.S in Environmental Science and B.A in Spanish/Portuguese Career Goal: To become a Trilingual researcher Hometown: Tucson, AZ Fun Fact: I currently work at the school garden at Davis Bilingual Magnet School! What is one goal you would like to accomplish in your lifetime? To feel confident when I'm presenting in front of big crowds.

What is one goal you would like to accomplish in your lifetime? To implement engineering techniques in third world countries.

Stephanie Ibarra Major: B.S in Veterinary Sciences Career Goal: To become a Veterinary physician and open up my own practice. Hometown: Santa Clarita, CA Fun Fact: I have lived in four different states! New Mexico, Minnesota, California, and Arizona. What is one goal you would like to accomplish in your lifetime? To learn three completely different languages.

Hannah Johnson Major: B.S in Retailing and Consumer Sciences, PreBusiness Marketing Career Goal: To integrate both Retailing/Consumer Sciences and Marketing in the fashion industry. Hometown: Tucson, AZ Fun Fact: I was almost late to my high school graduation because I was in Los Angeles filming in a movie. What is one goal you would like to accomplish in your lifetime? To take my marketing knowledge and eventually work for the Children's Miracle Network Marketing Team to raise awareness of the non-profit's purpose within the US and Canada.

Birgitte Lie Major: B.S in Nutritional Sciences Career Goal: To become an entrepreneur and a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I believe good health comes from a combination of exercise and a nutritious diet, and therefore my dream is to start a physical therapy clinic with guaranteed nutritional advising for all patients. Hometown: Stavanger, Norway Fun Fact: I am the first in my family to ever move abroad and to attend college. What is one goal you would like to accomplish in your lifetime? To climb Mount Kilimanjaro, a 19,300 ft elevated volcano located in Tanzania, with my mother by my side.
