Upcoming Changes to Process for Hiring and Termination of Employees
Ensuring that employees are able to access the university’s technology resources during periods in which they are employed, while appropriately restricting access before and after employment, is an important security protocol. To help to achieve this, Departmental HR Liaisons and other appropriate departmental personnel have been notified of changes to electronic forms (EPAFS) that require the submission of First Work Date and Last Work Date, representing the actual date the employee physically reports to and stops work. Departments must manage the required personnel actions to support new hire on-boarding, reappointments, and separations in a timely manner to avoid a delay in and/or termination of university services.
