Position Description: Education officers will be responsible for the identification of sites for the installation of TLCs and will identify the teaches for training and to train the teachers.

Detail of Responsibilities:  Design training material/manuals and conduct trainings in close coordination with district education department and donor agency.  Design and implement training follow up mechanism and ensure need based support and guidance to the teachers, head teachers, PTC members, students and other beneficiaries.  Ensure strong coordination with schools head/teachers, PTC/TIJ members and community elders, timely provision of school/student supplies as per LFA.  To identify the schools for installation of TLCs.  H/She will be responsible to identify and nominate the teachers from the selected schools and will arrange training for the teachers.  He/she will be responsible for PTC/TIJ re-activation/revitalization and arrange training for the members.  Ensure quality assurance of the project deliverables.  He/she will be responsible to coordinate and facilitate the psychosocial support activities with Psychologist.

Personnel Qualification and Competencies:     

Master Degree in Education or Equivalent. Must have at least 4-5 years of working experience in relevant field with NGOs/INGOs. Have expertise in developing training modules and ability to conduct training workshops. Good communication skills can speak and understand Pushto. Willingness to undertake extensive traveling and work load.
