Basic Broadband Subsidy Scheme Scheme Outline  Commitment to provide a basic level of broadband to all premises.  The Basic Broadband Subsidy Scheme provides support towards the cost of the installation of a broadband connection so that a basic broadband service can be purchased for a first year cost of no more than £400 (taking account of any up-front costs and the 12 month service charges).
