-Be prepared (Have all the things you need for your class or meeting before you arrive) -Be persistent (Show 100% effort with every task or assignment) -Be relentless (Stick to a task or assignment until it’s done, and done well)

-Be a team player (Partner with your child’s teacher to make your child’s education the best it can be) -Be proactive (Keep regular (at least weekly) tabs on your child’s academic and social progress so that problems don’t get enormous before they are addressed) -Be positive (When in the school or at a game, present a positive demeanor and speak well of others in the school)

- Be a cheerleader for kids (Advocate for your kids) - Be there (Be involved in your student’s life) - Give support and encouragement (Bring others up) - Be open minded (See all points of view)
