RESEARCH INTERESTS I am interested in the influences of ecosystem management options (e.g., land use changes, manuring, biochar application, and fire) and climate change on carbon cycling and nutrient dynamics. I am particularly interested in the processes and mechanisms of organic carbon decomposition and stability in soils and sediments and coupled nitrogen and phosphorous transformation and bioavailability as well as enzyme activity.
