PROJECT DETAILS PROJECT #1 (2017-18): Title of the Project : Smart Environment (IEDC Funded Research Project - Completed) Sanctioned Fund : Rs.35,000/Technologies Used : Python, Raspberry Pi, JQuery, Sensors Abstract : Smart Environment is implemented using raspberry pi 3 with different sensors. In this project, all the electronic devices in the home can be operated from remote areas through mobile and also there is a inclusion of smart farming, smart feeding and smart municipal dustbin modules. By smart feeding application, pets in the home can be feeded from any place. Through smart farming, water will be sprinkled on the cultivation fields based on the moisture levels. Smart Municipal dustbins helps the municipal authorities to track the dustbins location and status across city. All these modules are developed in real-time environment. Abstract : Personalized Web Search (PWS) is a search technique for providing better search results, viewing user history, and has been enticing much responsiveness recently. However, effective personalized search requires gathering and accumulating user data, which often raise severe concerns of privacy intrusion for many users. Encoding Algorithm is used for encoding the users’ profile data & it is mapped by unique alphanumeric identity using random unique identity generator algorithm. User identity to server is fully disclosed and privacy is preserved in web search without negotiating both personalization and privacy. Abstract : Users are increasingly pursuing complex task-oriented goals on the Web, such as making travel arrangements, managing finances or planning purchases. We study the problem of organizing a user’s historical queries into groups in a dynamic and automated fashion. Automatically identifying query groups is helpful for a number of different search engine components and applications, such as query suggestions, result ranking, query alterations and collaborative search.
