The conference will be held on 23rd – 25th June 2009 together with celebrations of the 50th anniversary of foundation of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. The three-day ISMCK´09 is held under the patronage of the Rector University in Košice, the Dean of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University Medicine and is organized by the Association of Medical Students in International Federation of Medical Students` Associations (IFMSA) Students` Association (EMSA).

The aim of ISMCK`09 is to strengthen the international network for scientific collaboration and invite all young scientists working in the field of medicine and biomedical sciences. ISMCK`09 is giving a chance to students as well as PhD students looking for an opportunity to present their research works and exchange their ideas upon topics in these categories (the topics may change in case of enough participants), either in oral or poster presentation: Basic Science Clinical Medicine Dentistry Nursing Public Health PhD Students´ Works.
