DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 10-77 June 10, 1977 Upon representations of the Land Bank of the Philippines and in line with the Memorandum of Agreement entered into by and between said Bank and this Department on March 30, 1976, the Municipal Treasurers of Candijay and Guindulman, both of the province of Bohol, are hereby authorized to act as Collection Agents of the Land Bank of the Philippines. As such, they shall perform the following duties and responsibilities pursuant to the aforementioned Memorandum of Agreement: 1. Support the campaign undertaken by the LBP to inform farmer-beneficiaries on the Collection System; 2. Receive payments of amortizing farmers and maintain a Money in Trust Account for Land Bank for said collections; 3. Issue Land Bank Provisional Receipts to amortizing farmers; 4. Prepare and accomplish the necessary forms used in I the system; 5. During collection visits of authorized LBP units, remit collections and submit the necessary reports and supporting documents; 6. Provide LBP with a listing of returned (bad) checks made by farmer-beneficiaries; and 7. Make available to authorized LBP officials/representatives records and official receipts related to the collection system. It is understood that the Municipal Treasurers herein referred to shall be entitled to all commissions, allowances and such other emoluments as may be authorized by the Land Bank of the Philippines for all other municipal treasurers similarly authorized to be collection agents thereof.
