RECLASSIFICATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAPINIG IN THE PROVINCE OF NORTHERN SAMAR, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1986, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 465.

The Regional Director for Local Government Finance, Region VIII, the Provincial Governor; the Sangguniang Panlalawigan; the Provincial Treasurer; the Provincial Auditor; the Municipal Mayor; the Sangguniang Bayan; the Municipal Treasurer of Lapinig and Others Concerned.

Pursuant to Section 5 of Presidential Decree No. 465, the municipality of Lapinig in the province of Northern Samar, is hereby reclassified from Sixth to Fifth Class, effective July 1, 1986, on the basis of its average annual income of $282,258.04 actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive calendar years 1982-1985, as certified by the Commission on Audit under its letter dated September 23, 1987. The foregoing classification shall be the basis for determining the maximum amounts expendable for salaries and wages, representation allowances, administrative aids and other statutory contributions in the adoption of the annual budgets, as well as the maximum salary rates of municipal officials and employees of Lapinig in accordance with existing law and regulations.

The municipality, however, shall be reclassified anew effective July 1, 1987 in accordance with Executive Order No. 249 dated July 25, 1987 on the basis of the certification of the average annual income for the last four (4) consecutive calendar years 1983-1986 to be issued by the Commission on Audit.
