Pursuant to the IC'emorandum of A;;reenait dated November 24, 1976 entered into by and between the :Jepartment: of Public Information and the Department of Finance to coordinate their tax information and education programs through the creation of a Coordinating; Committee on Tax Information and hdncation, said Committee is hereby constitpted and the following officials are desit;n:;ted as renresontatives of the Department of Finance: 1.

The functions of the Committee arc: 1.
To coordinate the tax information and education programs of the Department or l?inance, the Gureau of Internal Revenue with the Department of Public Information so as to attain maximum tax coll.ections;
2.
To initiate and formulate policies and plans, to integrate, coordinate, direct, control and supervise and facilitate the implementation of long-range and/or year-round programu on tax information and education;
3.
To review, evaluate from time to time the means and methods and public response to on-eying tax information programs conducted in various regions;

4.
To coordinate and cooperate with the Department of Public Inforoation in the use of their respective agencies' facilities, services and manpower in the provinces, cities and municipalities.
The Committee shall be authorized to form a Secretariat and sub-committees to acaiat it in its work and shall be empowered to call on any official or employee of their respective agencies to enable it to attain its objectives.
