MINISTRY ORDER NO. October 9, 1981 SUBJECT:

RECLASSIFICATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ENRIQUE B. MAGALONA, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1978, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 465.

The Regional Director for Local Government Finance, Region VI, Provincial Governor, Municipal Mayor, Municipal Treasurer, and Others Concerned.

Pursuant to Section 5 of Presidential Decree No. 465, and on the basis of the average annual income of P806,148.56 actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive years from 1974 to 1977 as certified by the Commission on Audit under letter dated September 25, 1981, the present classification of the Municipality of Enrique B. Magalona, Negros Occidental as a Third Class municipality is hereby maintained, effective July 1, 1978. The foregoing classification of the said municipality shall be the basis for determining the maximum amounts expendable for salaries and wages, representation allowances, administrative aids and other statutory contributions in the adoption of the annual budgets, as well as the maximum salary rates of local government officials and employees in accordance with existing law and regulations. This accordingly supplements Ministry Order No. 40-79, dated September 5, 1979, of this Ministry, reclassifying the municipalities of the province of Negros Occidental.
