DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 8-93 February 26, 1993
In connection with the conduct of the Mini-Sportsfest in the Department as authorized under Department Personnel Order No. 9-93, the following guidelines shall be observed: 1)
The Mini-Sportsfest shall be officially declared open by the Secretary to coincide with the flag raising ceremonies at 8:15 on March 15, 1993 at the open space in Rizal Park fronting the Marble Hall.

The events to be participated in by ROG, PDMSG, CAG, IFG, DFG, One Stop Shop Center, CBAA and EIIB shall consist of: Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Bowling, Chess, Games of the General and Dama.

The schedule of events and the Ground Rules for the events shall be formulated by the Managers in consultation with the representatives of the different participating groups.
4)
A player will be allowed to participate in a maximum of two (2) events only.
5)
The athletes shall be authorized to practice every Monday-Wednesday-Friday starting 4:00 p.m. only.
6)
The Managers shall be responsible for coordinating and proper monitoring of the schedules of their respective events and players, safekeeping of sports equipments needed in their respective events and for returning them back to General Services Division (GSD) at the end of the Sportsfest.
7)
The Medical Team composed of Dr. Monina Fajardo as Chairman and other medical staff as members, shall be requested to be present in all the events to ensure first aid safety during the games.
8)
Mr. Gotardo Baylor, Chief of Olga Security Services, shall provide the necessary security for the athletes during the games.
9)
The GSD shall coordinate with National Parks Development Committee for the use of the Rizal Park spaces near the DOF Building and shall be responsible for the maintenance of venues, equipments and other requirements for the Sportsfest.

10)
designated Sports Cortes shall -be Rafael Atty. capacity, settle and in such Commissioner grievances/disputes in cases of complaints. He shall be assisted by the representative of the different groups. Their decision shall be considered final and executory.
This Order takes effect immediately.
