Plan for Disseminating the $MART Structure, Approach and Outcomes We envision four main pathways for disseminating the results. 1 Internal Dissemination: We will submit regular reports to the leadership of St. Catherine University including the President’s Cabinet, the Board of Trustees, and the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health and the Department of Nursing faculty meetings. Presentations will be given at faculty development events of the University, for example “Opening Faculty and Staff Workshops” in August and “Teaching and Learning Network” in January of each year. University departmental and faculty newsletters will also include information from the work in this grant. Staff and nursing faculty will also provide information via presentations and via newsletters to student organizations and student leadership groups. 2 Partnerships with Other Institutions: We will regularly disseminate results to our partners as a result of presentations to the Nursing Advisory Council and the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health Advisory Council meetings. In addition, results will be shared at our annual nursing preceptor events to which our partners attend. Results will also be presented at the annual clinical education summits sponsored by the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health and our organizational partners in the Twin Cities area, e.g., Allina, Fairview, Health East, Health Partners, and Catholic Eldercare. Regular reporting about outreach to employees of Allina, Fairview, and Catholic Eldercare will occur to give feedback and gain suggestions for modifying recruitment approaches. 3 Online Dissemination: We propose to disseminate our information to the broader community of nursing faculty by creating a web site of materials and resources regarding the work in creating a multicultural curriculum. 4 Conference Presentations: We will disseminate through conference presentations at nursing conferences, advisor conferences, and University support program conferences. 5 Publications: During the third year of our grant, we will write and submit manuscripts to several journals in nursing, advising, and higher education.
