Personalized - $42.00 Please complete form, place in envelope labeled "Yearbook" and return to Mrs. Burkink or Yearbook box in the office. Make checks payable to KCHS. Forms were distributed to all students on February 1st. This is the only time you will be able to purchase a yearbook! Thank you, The Yearbook Staff Seniors & Senior Parents, please email a baby picture, middle school picture, senior picture and 3-5 miscellaneous pictures for the Senior Slideshow to Tessa Mannlein by April 1st! Wednesday February 16th from 5 to 9 the Junior class will have a fundraiser at Applebys. Applebys will donate 10% of your total bill if you bring in the flyer. Flyers will be available in the office and on the web a few weeks before the event. Remember you must have the flyer to get the credit. Thanks so much for your support. Mark your calendars for Star Relays on March 25th. Volunteers will be needed again to run the track meet and if you can help please contact Justin Moore, Dwaine Schmitt or Matt Coop.

Star Partners News Feb 2011 LAST MONTH’S EVENTS: Star Partners helped serve cookies, punch and coffee at the 5th Grade Open House on Jan 30th! This event was well attended and it was exciting to see the potential new students that will be attending KCHS next fall! Star Partners provided two cakes via parent volunteers to celebrate teacher’s birthdays in January! We still have cat cards available in the office. 100% of the proceeds go back to KCHS!!! Pick up yours today for just $5! Decals are also available while supplies last!

EVENTS FOR FEBRUARY CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK!!! This is our largest event of the year! Catholic Schools Week is held nation wide on the same week. We kicked the week off with students helping with Masses on Saturday and Sunday! THANKS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED!!! Special recognition goes out to Sara Liess, Hayden McKelvey and Kenton Gewecke, who spoke at mass sharing, what their Catholic education has meant to them and how it has prepared them for their future! Below is a brief outline of our plans: Monday, Jan 31st (Celebrate Catholicism across the great state of NE)  Penny Drive Begins  Prayer in foyer done by Father Josh  Balloon Release by Seniors at kick off  Mayor Stan Clouse came and read a proclamation  Go Nebraska Day- Students will wear sports apparel for NE Teams- i.e., Huskers, Creighton, Lopers, Stars, Storm, with jeans  Can food drive put on by National Honor Society Tuesday, Feb 1St (Celebrate Teachers Day)  Teachers luncheon 11-1 pm  Students dress as multiples (Twins, Triplets, Quads. etc) Wednesday, Feb 2nd (Celebrate Students Day)  Students will bring homemade V-day cards to be able to dress down. o Students will be awarded Star Olympic points for participation o They will be delivered to nursing homes, by Seniors who are already going there  Teachers wear uniforms

Thursday, Feb 3rd (Celebrate Alumna Day)  Serving Coffee and Donuts after mass  Penny Drive ends  Dress Up Day  Invited Alumna back from 1st graduating class  Senior Class picture will be taken Friday, Feb 4th (Celebrate KCHS)  Star Partners will be giving out FREE t-shirts to all students/staff and Faculty o Will take group picture  Star Olympics  Students dress in jeans and spirit wear/CSW t-shirts Please join us at our next meeting on Wednesday, February 9 th at 7 pm in the teacher’s lounge.
