After School Study Hall Guidelines Purpose of Study Hall: The purpose of Study Hall is to provide a learning environment which is conducive for middle and high school students to work on homework assignments, research information using the computers, and read or study material for upcoming tests and quizzes. It is also intended to be a holding place for students waiting for parents to pick them up or for sports to begin. The hours are from when school is dismissed at 3:10pm until 5:15pm. Please fill out the bottom portion of this form and turn it in to Mrs. Martha Heid. She will be our After School Supervisor. We are blessed to have her here at Fellowship Christian School! Expectations of Study Hall 1. Students must have work to complete, materials to study, or a book to read while in study hall. 2. Students must ask for permission to use a computer for research or teacher assigned projects only (games are not permitted). 3. Students must keep their phones turned off at all times. If a student needs to use it, they must ask for permission. Phones used without permission will be taken and held. 4. Students must ask permission to leave study hall to go to the restroom. 5. Students must eat or drink in the hallway and return to study hall prior to 3:30pm. 6. Students will not be released unless they are leaving for sports practices and/or games or parents have called the phone line (770-‐641-‐6856). 7. Students must maintain a quiet environment so as not to disturb others. 8. Students must sign in and sign out on a daily basis. 9. Students must bring all required textbooks and materials to class as they will not be permitted to leave Room 217 after 4pm. 10. Students must follow the rules in Study Hall, otherwise, they will not be permitted to attend. _____________________________ _____________________________
