in frequency of Maitree Express denotes the popularity of the train and best efforts are being taken to further improve the services of this train so that people of both the countries' can avail the train comfortably and reach destination on time.
Now the train will leave Kolkata terminal on Tuesday,Friday, Saturday and Monday at 7.10 hrs and reach Dhaka at 18.00hrs the same day. The train will leave Dhaka on Wednesday Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8.10 hrs and reach Kolkata terminal at B 18.10hrs the same day.
28thNational Convention of NFIR, Open Session Inaugurated by Railway lVlinister Shri Suresh Prabhu Q hri SureshPrabhu inaugurated the National Session of rJOpen Convention of NFIRheld at Maligaon Railway Stadium on 10 November, 2016. Shri Suresh Prabhu and Shri Rajen Gohain were welcomed by the NFIR Leaders. Shri G. Sanjeeva Reddy, All India INTUC President was the Chief Guest in the Open Session. Addressingthe Open Session,Shri M. Raghavaiah, General Secretary, NFIR at the outset thanked Minister of Railways and Minister of State for Railwaysfor gracing the occasion.He complimented the Railway Minister for his initiative towards Bonus payment before the DussheraFestival.He also thanked Railway Minister for his intervention in issues related to VII CPC and spoke in detail about employees' issues. He urged the Railway Minister to direct Chairman, Railway Board to implement the commitments given to the Federation. Shri SureshPrabhu complimented Railway Employees for their role in providing uninterrupted services and also felt happy on positive the cooperation extended by

given by the Railway Board and not implemented till date shall be dealt and necessary directives will be issuedto the CRB etc.,to honourthe commitments. He also expressedhis happinessfor participating in such a huge congregation of the NFIRs expressed Open Session and confidence that the Federation and Railway Ministry will work together for the overall good of Nation and customer.
