Each event may display a maximum of 40 banners (space available) and a minimum of 4 banners in Downtown Tahoe City. Banners must be in good condition; not torn or frayed upon receipt. TCDA and TCPUD are not responsible for condition of banners during or after display. Banner size is 24 inches wide by 48 inches tall and must conform to the following guidelines: o Banner MUST INCLUDE event/organization logo or representative graphic o Banner CAN INCLUDE event/organization website and event dates o Banner MAY NOT INCLUDE sponsors logos or references, prices, any logos/graphics not associated with event/organization applying for banner application, and/or phone/fax/other numbers. o Banner must have grommets on both bottom corners (see attached diagram) o Top “Pole Pocket” (sleeve fold) over must be large enough to accommodate 1.5-inch PVC pole Per TRPA code, banners may be installed 14 days prior to a one day or weekend event. Banners may hang for duration of the event and will be removed within five business days after the event is completed. Upon banner removal, your organization will be notified when banners are available for pickup at the TCDA office. Banners must be retrieved within 7 days of notification. Banners not retrieved within 7 days may be disposed. No more than four (4) events can be on display at any one time in Downtown Tahoe City. Therefore, applications are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis and may be reserved no more than one year in advance. Each future reservation must be confirmed at the end of each event. Banners cannot be an advertisement for a specific business. Banners should create economic benefit to the entire community Banner acceptance and placement will be at the discretion of the TCDA and TCPUD.
Fee: $40 per banner for TCDA members. $70 per banner for non-members. Fees are payable to TCDA and are due upon delivery of banners. Tahoe City Downtown Association Contact Information: 530-583-3348,
