Principal’s Weekly Highlight

This year the California Department of Education (CDE) is using the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) to fund our schools. The LCFF gives money to schools and districts based on the needs of students. The CDE will use the information submitted by Steele Canyon to determine our school’s current and future funding allocations. It is vital that we collect and submit this data so our school can receive funding that accurately accounts for student needs. On Wednesday, all students received a Household Income Data Collection form in their second block class. Please fill it out and return it in the attached sealed envelope with your child b y Sept. 27th. For your convenience, the form is also attached here in English and Spanish. Be assured that only our Business Office will be handling these confidential forms. If you have questions regarding the completion and submission of the Household Income Data Collection form, please contact Shannon Ramsinghani Admin Director Special Projects (619-660-3521). Thank you for your support in ensuring that our school maximizes the resources they need to support our students.
