RUSSELL COFF Russell Coff is the Wisconsin Naming Partners Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research explores the role of knowledge-based assets in creating and sustaining competitive advantage, e.g. s management dilemmas associated with human assets including how buyers cope in mergers and acquisitions that involve human assets, value appropriation in the context of a knowledge-based advantage, and creativity/innovation under conditions of asymmetric information and uncertainty. Coff received his Ph.D. from UCLA and has previously been a faculty member at Emory and Washington Universities.
