1. (Assembling his apostles in an upper room on the occasion of the Feast of the Passover) “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread and brake it, and blessed it, and gave to his disciples and said, Take, eat; this is in remembrance of my body which I give as a ransom for you. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is in remembrance of my blood of the new testament which is shed for as many as shall believe on my name, for the remission of their sins.” JST Matthew 26:26-28
2. “Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went into the chief priests, And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for 30 pieces of silver.” Matthew 26: 14-15, prophesied in Zechariah 11:12-14
3. “When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death: And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.” Matthew 27:1-2
4. “When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it ... Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.” Matthew 27:24-26
5. “And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe, And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! ... And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him and put his own raiment on him, and lead him away to crucify him.” Matthew 27:28-29, 31
6. “And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst. And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.” John 19:17-19
7. “Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from top throughout. They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.” John 19:23-24
8. “And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying ... My God, my God, why has thou forsaken me? ... And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom ... and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent. And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.” Mark 15:33-34, Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:37-39
9. “When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus’ disciple: He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered. And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.” Matthew 27:57-60
10. “... The chief priest and the Pharisees came together unto Pilate, Saying Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, after three days I will rise again. Comand therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead .... Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can. So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.” Matthew 27:62-66
11. “In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for the angel of the Lord descended from Heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” Matthew 28:1-2, 5-6.
12.”And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him: That he lives! For we saw him even on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice bearing record that he is the Only Begotten of the Father -- That by him, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.” D&C 76:22-24
