Attached are Regional Memorandum No. 23, 2015, 2016 re: Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) Results and Regional Memorandum re: Awarding of 2016 RSPC Winners, Induction and Turn-Over Ceremonies of the Newly Elected RASPA Officers. In this regard, all school administrators are advised to extend full support to the School Paper Advisers and Campus Journalists who will be attending the training and awarding ceremonies on January 24-29 and February 7-12 ,2016 particularly on the food allowance of the participants during the conduct of the training. Likewise, the division office will take charge of the transportation of the participants. For your information and compliance.

Division of Cavite Province, will conduct its one - day grand awarding of 2016 RSPC winners, most, outstanding school paper advisers (MOSPA) and most outstanding campus journalists (MOCi),', induction and turn-over ceremonies of the newly elected officers of the Regional Association of Schoal Paper Advisers (RASPA) on January 29, 2016, from 8:00 AM onwards at Tagaytay International Convention Center (TICC), Tagaytay City. toko Participants to this activity are the 2016 RSPC winners, all MOSPA and MOO candidates, the

The Department of Education Region IV A CALABARZON, through the-i. Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD, announces the results of the 2016 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) held on December 8, 2015 at the Districts of Tanza and Trece Martires City, Schools Division of Cavite Province. The Conference showcased the knowledge and skills in journalism of campus journalists, as well as their respective school paper advisers, both from the public ,' and private elementary and secondary schools. This year's one day RSPC was participated by 5,320 campus journalists and 760 school paper adviser' excluding non-contestants such as other teacher advisers, contests officials from the regional and division offices, practitioners and academicians. The host schools division must organize the working committees on program, registration, documentation, venue and accommodation, ICT, medical and security. The school canteen is requested to be open for the participants all throughout the trainings. The Participants in the Cliniquing/Regional Training of 2016 NSPC Qualifiers areas follows: School Paper Category - The School Paper Adviser, Layout Artist or the EIC, and the EPS in Journalism of the top 10 winners per section per medium per level. The participants must bring with them their raw layout project files including all images used, including possible alternate photos, and the editable layout file or the,., 1nDesign file (.indd) or MS Publisher file (.pub)„ or any of the equivalent editable files of the school paper, laptops with broadband internet, camera, printer, extension wires. coaches/sch1 paper advisers and EPS in Journalist .)). The participants must bring and provide themselves with the necessary materials and equipment required for their respective contests categories. There shall be NO REGISTRATION FEE. Participants shall take care of their own Iransportalion, food, accommodation and other incidental expenses which may be charged to MOOE, provincial local funds or the city's special education fund, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and procedures. All Schools Divisions EPSs in-charge of Campus Journalism, with their SPAs, must also be responsible of the safety and security of their 2016 NSPC Qualifiers all throughout the trainings. Thus, parents' permit and medical certificates must have been secured by the concerned officials. Honoraria, board and lodging, transportation of trainers/speakers,, supplies and other incidental expenses of the said activities shall be charged against the Regional Funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and procedures. .
I.
This Office expects full implementation of Regional Memorandum No. 13 S. 20 entitled 'Special Consideration to Learners' Active Participation and Exemt5 Performance to Co-Curricular Activities.' Likewise, the Office expects the coaches/school paper advisers and their respective EPSs to submit repOrts documenting their campus journalists' status/progress/improvement/active participation during and even after the training. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired. •
