Educational Tour of BJVM, V.V.Nagar – A Report
An Educational Tour was organized by C K Shah Vijapurwala Institute of Management for BJVM, V.V.Nagar on 4th January, 2014. The program started with lighting of the lamp and remembering the almighty. Dr. Kunjal Sinha, Associate Professor, CKSVIM, welcomed all the professors and students from BJVM and expressed the happiness of the entire CKSVIM family for hosting such a program for them. Dr. Kerav Pandya, Associate Professor, CKSVIM, gave a brief presentation about the institute. He mentioned about various activities, programs, seminars, conferences, accreditation process, ranking of the institute, students development programs being conducted at the institute.

Dr. Rajesh Khajuria, Director, CKSVIM, gave a talk on “Men and Management. He briefed the students about the modern management styles used in corporate business to run successful and profitable ventures. He had further briefed about the three pillars on which our institute stands, and which is our institutes’ motto i.e. Education, Ethics and Enterprise. He further explained hoe these three are interrelated and helps an organization to grow and succeed, citing our institutes’ example. He also discussed various modern teaching methods CKSVIM adapts to impart management education. Mr. Ankit Shah, Training and Placement Officer, CKSVIM gave insights into the current employment market. He also briefed the students about various employment and self employment opportunities prevailing in India and how students can grab these opportunities.

Post the classroom session the students were taken to the open ground for a management game organized by Ms. Hetal Thakar, Assistant Professor, CKSVIM and Dr. Kunjal Sinha, Associate Professor, CKSVIM. The students played the management game and then the discussion was carried out on the management learning through the game. This was followed by an Institute Visit with Ms. Anjali Bhadsavle, Admin Office, CKSVIM. The program was ended with delicious Jain lunch.
