ELs (English Learners) make up approximately 5% of our student body. With an increasing number of students every Other Students 95% year, it is out duty to recognize and appreciate the diversity we have in our Ames community.

There are 237 ELs enrolled as of December 2017 Over 27 languages are spoken in total Only 1/3 of ELs are in Middle & High School (6-12) with only 81 students enrolled Meanwhile the majority of ELs are in Elementary schools (K-5) with 156 enrolled
