Scotland County Schools/Richmond Community College High School, College and Career Plan –Electrical Utility Substation & Relay Technology Program of Study Trade and Industrial Education program provides students the opportunity to advance in a wide range of careers. Students who participate in the program will take part in instructional units that educate them in standardized industry processes related to concepts, layout, design, materials, production, assembly, quality control, maintenance, troubleshooting, construction, repair, and service of industrial, commercial, and residential goods and products. Development of 21st century skills including collaboration, critical thinking, entrepreneurial skills, and problem solving is a part of each of the career pathways.
