1. Transferable strategies for teaching narrative,  informational, and opinion writing.    2. Data analysis of student writing to determine proficiency  and next steps for students.    3. Developing the teacher as a writer.    4. Helping students write well about reading.         5.  Methods of holding students accountable for doing their            best work.         6.  Using mentor texts to help students craft their writing.         7.  Setting up classroom workshop structures that promote             inquiry and collaboration in an elementary classroom.     This course will include a book study using ​ Writing Pathways.
