All Eyes on Me Room 12B The session focuses on how to engage early/elementary students in various subjects using the apps Nearpod, Showbie, and Seesaw, while being able to assess and provide feedback. In this session, teachers will also get examples of how the apps can be used in daily stations and student creation as well.

Inquiry and Exploration with Technology Room 12B Looking for creative ways to incorporate technology in the classroom and develop children’s digital citizenship skills? Examples of how to connect technology tools, programs/websites, and active student engagement to expand academic and social skills will be provided. Connections to TEKS will also be presented to encourage reflective teaching practices.

Video Announcements in Elementary? You Bet! Room 12B From using a green screen and iMovie to Periscope and Twitter, our elementary students produce daily video announcements for the entire school.

Building STEAM in the Primary Grades Room 12B Is STEAM really for five-eight year olds? Absolutely! Attendees will be exposed to iPad apps, online tools, and hands-on learning materials/experiences that will ignite a passion of STEAM in their students.

Say YES to the Test Prep! Room 12B Tired of paper and pencil review sessions? Tech it up a notch with STAAR Masters, a series of interactive “game show” experiences. Come learn how we motivated hundreds of students across our district as they competed against one another using video conference technology. It's a great way for students to take ownership of their learning.
