November 30, 2014 Dear Parents, On behalf of the Early Learning Ventures Colorado Alliance (ELV Colorado Alliance), we would like to introduce you to a new program in which Imagine Charter School Preschool is participating. Your childcare program is now a member of the ELV Colorado Alliance, which is a shared services program for Early Care and Education Providers. The ELV Alliance is a network of early care and education businesses, which include centers and family child care homes, that work together to deliver childcare services in a more streamlined and efficient manner. The ELV Alliance provides business and administrative support, professional development, and other support services to help childcare providers improve the quality of their programming. These services enable the leadership team at Imagine Charter School Preschool to focus on their core business of delivering quality service, and remain committed dedicated and focused on your child and family. One of these services relates to signing your children in/out. Instead of signing them in by hand, we will soon have a computer at the front entryway where you will be able to sign them in and out. Each authorized pickup person will have their own self-selected security code, which will identify that individual person as they sign in/out. All authorized persons should keep these security codes confidential. We are excited to start using this new sign in system for many reasons. It will be easier for you to sign your children in/out after you drop them off; it will be faster for you to type in a short code rather than signing in by hand, and for us, it increases the accuracy of our reports and makes them easier to prepare by using the new system instead of compiling all of the information by hand. In order for the ELV Colorado Alliance to provide these services, its team may need to obtain information concerning Imagine Charter School Preschool’s enrollment data. This information will be utilized in a secure and confidential manner, and will not be used for any other purpose than to input information into the new child file system and provide maintenance to the system as needed.
