Victim, Mr Schini, advises that he had placed a notice on the internet to his friends that he was selling some of his tools that he has not used in a long time. Listed Suspect 1--whom Mr Schini has known for many years--came to Mr Schini`s home with described Suspect 2 (whom S1 called his "old lady" and who introduced herself as "Felicia"). Mr Schini brought them both to his garage and was talking to Suspect 1 about selling his welder. After the Suspects left, Mr Schini looked at his surveillance video and could see that one of the Suspects would distract him as the other would hide various items in their clothing. This apparently went on for quite some time. Mr Schini advises that all of the items would be tools, but cannot describe exactly what is missing or how much they are worth. Mr Schini advised that the video of the incident is currently not able to be loaded on a disc, but he believes he will be able to do so at a later time. The reporter called 911 stating they had an adult male shoplifter in custody. The male offender had taken a bottle of mouthwash, walked past all points of purchase and exited the store. He then started walking across the parking lot. He opened and started drinking the mouthwash before being stopped by the reporter and walked back to the store where he was cooperative.

Tucker and Johnson stated, Hall pulled the electric meter and left the location. Tucker and Johnson stated, they smelled and observed smoke in a back bedroom as soon as Hall left. Johnson went to the back bedroom and discovered a pile of clothes on fire. Johnson threw the clothes out of a back window. Tucker went to a neighbor and called 911.

She reports that while attempting to gather items the offender told her not to take anything else and shoved her away. She further states that he grabbed her arm to escort her out the front door. She states that her mother and daughter witnessed the confrontation, but neither substantiated the accusations. The victim had no visible signs of injury at this time and clearly stated that the offender never struck her with a fist or open hand. Cross with case number 17-24485. The victim and offender are currently married and the offender was attempting to move some items out of the trailer when a confrontation ocurred. The victim told her to stop taking items out of the house and she had a rubbermaid tote full of glasses that she was dragging across the lving room floor when it came apart. The offender then grabbed a blue handheld vacuum cleaner and struck the victim across the right forearm with the vacuum. There was a broken blue vacuum cleaner on the living room floor while I was on scene with the broken container full of glasses nearby. The victim had no signs of visible injury at this time. The blue Chevrolet truck was parked on the south side of Sycamore St just west of Vann Ave. The black Grand Am was parked behind the Chevrolet truck. Around 2am on today`s date the resident at 201 Vann Ave heard a loud bang. The front grill from a Kia was wedged up under the rearend of the Grand Am. A piece of the Kia that was left on scene had numbers on it and was put into evidence for Hit and Run. It is obvious from the damage that the Kia was east on Sycamore Street, ran into the rear of the Grand Am and then pushed the Grand Am into the rear of the Chevrolet truck. The Grand Am is totalled. There is extensive damage to the rear end and front end of the Grand Am.

Officer was dispatched to 401 N Burkhardt Rd (Walmart) the Wood Forest National Bank to meet with the victim, H. Payne, who stated someone had used her bank card without authorization. Officer arrived and spoke with H. Payne who stated around 10/23/ 2017 she allowed and old friend, later identified as the offender, with children stay with her and her husband due to her needing help. H. Payne stated she believes the offender took her Heritage Federal Bank card and used it to withdraw one hundred dollars from the Wood Forest National Bank ATM in Walmart on 10/30/2017 at around 1500 hrs. The card was used again inside of Walmart (401 N Burkhardt Rd.) a little later withdrawing another one hundred dollars.

Morgan Ave facing WB on Morgan. Victim stated that the vehicle behind them ran directly into their back bumper. Victim got out of the vehicle and was able to take a picture of the temporary Kentucky plate on the suspect vehicle. Dispatch advised the victim to move the involved vehicles out of the roadway if possible. Victim moved to the nearby lot of subway. Suspect vehicle left the scene SB on US41. Temporary plate number, description of vehicle, and description of suspect were able to be provided. Witness listed observed the accident but was not on scene upon officers arrival. Dollar Tree Corporation VICTIM of Theft- Shoplifting < $750 (C), at 4855 W Lloyd Expy, Evansville, IN, between 15:32, 11/04/2017 and 15:45, 11/04/2017. Reported: 11/04/2017. On 11/04/2017 at approximately 1532 hours, officers were dispatched to 4855 W. Lloyd Expy. in reference to a theft in progress. Upon my arrival, Officer R. Smith, made contact with the reporter and the offender. Without any questioning the offender immediately admitted to taking items from the business. The reporter stated that she observed the offender remove several items from their areas of display and concealed those same items into her purse. The reporter stated that she was accompanied by a male subject, who she believed stole items as well. The reporter stated that the offender and male subject exited the business passing all points of sales without paying for the items that she concealed on her person. The reporter stated that the male subject seemed to have a pocket full of items when he exited the business. The reporter stated that he approached a van which was later determined to be their means of travel, stayed with the van for a short moment, and fled from the area when he was confronted by the reporter. Officer A. Epmeier located the male subject and he was no in possession of any stolen property. The reporter stated that she could not confirm if he had taken anything from the business. The driver of the van was not involved with the theft and allowed me to search her vehicle. There were no discovered stolen items in the vehicle. The offender was cited (8220121445) and released. The offender and the involved parties with her, were barred/banned from the business.

Victim stopped at Marathon, 654 E Diamond, to get a soda. She left her car unsecured when she went inside. When she came out she noticed that her purse had been gone through and her cell phone was missing. She made contact with her son and using an App on his phone they were able to get an approx location of the phone. It showed it in the parking lot on the north west corner of Diamond Ave and Sherman. I went to that location and started looking in the parking lot. I was able to locate the cell phone in a trash can infront of 620 E Diamond. Along with the cell phone I also located her wallet and check book. The Victim looked through both and stated that nothing was taken out of her wallet or her check book. She also identified her phone. I contacted crime scene and due to the material nothing could be done for evidence. All property taken was recovered.
