Fluency Hiring Plan
Smith County Board of Education will assess the speaking and listening fluency skills of prospective employees through the interview process. Grammatical errors and pronunciation difficulties will be noted if found. The review of the potential employee’s transcript and application will serve as a tool for evaluating his/her reading skills. If fluency is questionable, the applicant may be asked to write a few paragraphs during the interview process.
