Congreso Colombiano de Procesos avanzados de Oxidacion (PAOx 2015) Universidad de Caldas Manizales - Caldas, Colombia 21 al 24 de septiembre de 2015. Bienvenidos a Innova - CIBIA 2015 El Laboratorio Tecnológico del Uruguay anuncia la realización del encuentro científico INNOVACIBIA 2015, que tendrá lugar en el LATU del 7 al 9 de octubre de 2015. En esta edición al reconocido Simposio Internacional de Innovación y Desarrollo de Alimentos, INNOVA, en su séptima edición, se le sumará el décimo Congreso Iberoamericano de Ingeniería de Alimentos, CIBIA. Esta unión ofrecerá una oportunidad para aprender y compartir experiencias en las últimas tendencias referidas a la ciencia y tecnología de alimentos. Estimado/a compañero/a: Como investigador/a activo/a en los campos que van a tratarse en el congreso, nos gustaría recordarle que la fecha límite para el envío de abstracts para esta edición es el 4 de septiembre de 2015. Si está interesado/a en contribuir, tenga en cuenta que los abstracts deben enviarse a través de la página web y haciendo uso de la plantilla preparada al efecto, disponible para su descarga en dicha página. El idioma oficial del congreso es el inglés. La conferencia BioMicroWorld (que evoca el concepto/imagen "biological microscopic world") es un foro bien establecido que, desde el año 2005 y de forma bianual, reúne a investigadores y docentes en microbiología ambiental, industrial, alimentaria o médica, así como en biotecnología microbiana y en el desarrollo de tecnologías que sirven al desarrollo de dichos campos. Hasta la fecha se han recibido abstracts de 650 trabajos de investigación de equipos provenientes de más de 40 países. Esta edición se vislumbra pues como una buena oportunidad para tomar el pulso al estado actual y a las tendencias en investigación en los campos abarcados, y para asimismo generar o fortalecer redes de colaboración internacional. no lineales, usando para ello un potente programa estadístico de código abierto. Los directores e instructores serán la Dra. Ursula Gonzales-Barron y el Prof. Vasco Cadavez (Portugal). Fechas límite más cercanas:  4 de septiembre 2015: envío de abstracts  10 de septiembre 2015: registro  12 de noviembre 2015: envío de trabajos completos (full papers) para ser considerados para su publicación en el libro a publicar por BrownWalker Press después del congreso. Temas del congreso: Se han propuesto los siguientes temas generales y específicos para esta edición (en inglés, idioma en que se desarrollarán todas las actividades científicas): Participación virtual: Se ha establecido una modalidad de participación virtual que permitirá presentar sus trabajos a aquellos investigadores que por cualesquiera motivos no pueden desplazarse a Barcelona físicamente durante los días que dura el congreso. Los participantes que se acojan a esta modalidad deberán enviar a la organización del congreso sus "virtual papers", que pueden ser preparados utilizando diversos programas y/o medios audiovisuales, como se detalla en la página web. Éstos serán exhibidos en una plataforma online dedicada, y su contenido podrá ser objeto de discusión por cualquier otro participante del congreso. Diseminación-Publicación: Libro de Abstracts: todos los abstracts de trabajos presentados durante el congreso formarán parte del "Book of Abstracts" del mismo, que se imprimirá físicamente y que formará parte de la documentación que cada participante recibirá al acreditarse en la Secretaría del congreso. También se hará disponible públicamente en formato pdf. Los participantes virtuales recibirán una copia de dicho libro por correo postal tras la finalización del congreso. Actas/Proceedings: los "Proceedings" del congreso verán la luz en forma de libro titulado "Microbes in the spotlight: recent progress in the understanding of beneficial and harmful microorganisms", que será publicado impreso y online y distribuido a nivel internacional por BrownWalker Press. El envío de trabajos para este libro es opcional. Existe información detallada de cada uno de estos y otros aspectos en las secciones respectivas de la página web del congreso. The SETAC North America 36th Annual Meeting is a 5-day event featuring a variety of training, networking and learning opportunities. More than 2,300 scientists, assessors, regulators and managers will gather to share and discuss emerging research, regulatory developments and the latest methodologies in environmental toxicology and chemistry. The meeting draws a diverse group of scientists from academia, business and government representing more than 40 countries. Simultáneamente se desarrollarán el 6º Simposio Internacional de Nuevas Tecnologías, 4º Simposio Latinoamericano sobre Higiene y Calidad de Alimentos y el 2º Simposio de Innovación en Industrias Alimentarias. Nos complace comunicarles que estamos preparando un Programa Científico excepcional, con la participación de distinguidos ponentes internacionales y nacionales. A lo largo de más de 45 años de trabajo, la AATA ha estado jugando un papel activo en la organización de eventos científicos para fomentar y apoyar el conocimiento de la Ciencia y la Ingeniería de los Alimentos en Argentina, y que tienen beneficios a corto, mediano y largo plazo para la academia y la industria alimentaria en América Latina, así como en otras regiones. Actualmente, la AATA juega un rol creciente como puente y referente de la comunidad científica ligada a la industria alimentaria, la academia y el gobierno. El impulso que hemos construido en estos años tiene que ser sostenido y aumentado con el fin de convertir a la AATA en una verdadera organización profesional que represente a todos los profesionales del área. The 29th EFFoST International Conference will be held in Athens, Greece from 10-12 November 2015 under the theme: Food Science Research and Innovation: Delivering sustainable solutions to the global economy and society. The Conference will be organized by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) on behalf of the European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST). The conference will provide a forum for the broader spectrum of food science research and innovation and will serve as a meeting point for an International audience of researchers, scientists, engineers, policy makers, professionals and students. In a year that overlaps with the closing of many major food-related FP7 projects and the first round of output from the Horizon 2020 projects, the theme of the conference reflects the current philosophy of sustainability in both scientific research and applications in the multidisciplinary field of food. V Congreso de Producción Animal Tropical 16 al 20 de noviembre del 2015 La Habana, Cuba El Instituto de Ciencia Animal de Cuba (ICA) y la Asociación Cubana de Producción Animal (ACPA) tienen el grato placer de invitarlo a participar en el V Congreso Internacional de Producción Animal Tropical 2015, que se celebrará en La Habana, Cuba, del 16 al 20 de noviembre del 2015. The 2015 International Chemical Congress of Pacific Basin Societies (Pacifichem), will take place in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, December 15-20, 2015. The conference is sponsored jointly by the American Chemical Society (ACS), the Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC), the Chemical Society of Japan (CSJ), the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry (NZIC), the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI), the Korean Chemical Society (KCS), and the Chinese Chemical Society (CCS). The American Chemical Society is the host society for the 2015 Congress. Pacifichem 2015 will be the seventh in the series of successful cosponsored scientific conferences of Pacific Basin Chemical Societies. Founded in 1984, these conferences have been held in Honolulu, Hawaii about every five years. The theme of Pacifichem 2015 is Chemical Networking: Building Bridges Across the Pacific, emphasizing the collaborative nature of chemistry as a multidisciplinary science and the opportunities to network with Pan-Pacific research groups at the Pacifichem meetings. In keeping with the theme, Pacifichem 2015 welcomes proposals focusing on collaborations in chemistry.
