Once all of the children have arrived and have had some time to unwind from school, a daily group meeting is called to discuss upcoming events and to talk about ideas for future activities. “Program Potpourri” offers children the opportunity to demonstrate leadership and build community within their program. It’s comprised of discussions as well as planned activities to get the day started off right. From there, children self-select to complete their homework, help themselves to a healthy snack or participate in one of many planned activities from one of our five activity areas: Take the Challenge – Children complete homework, read a spinetingling mystery, or hone writing skills by reporting on program happenings. Sport Zone –Children stretch, blow off steam, learn how to play a sport, or engage in solo or group physical activity. The Nature of It – Children make predictions, put things together, and try something new; they are challenged with the excitement of a science experiment, building a tower or puzzle, or learning new games. Imagine That – Children express themselves creatively through art, drama, and music by exploring various art mediums, creating plays or skits, and exploring their musical abilities. Snack Attack – Children eat self-serve snacks, participate in cooking activities, learn healthy eating and hygiene habits, and become involved in hands-on learning about concepts such as measurement.

Schedule changes must be made on-line by the Wednesday prior to the affected week to avoid Drop In charges. Tuition: Tuition will be charged at the contracted rate regardless of attendance. Tuition is paid in advance and invoiced every Thursday according to child’s upcoming schedule. Tuition is due on Friday. - Late payment fee $10 - Late Pickup Fees $10 - $20 - $30 for every 15 minutes - Re-enrollment fee after child is dis-enrolled $20 How to Enroll: Parents will enjoy the convenience of enrolling their children online at www.discoverchampions.com. Click Enroll Now, then Create an Account. Once you have a Champions account: 1. Log onto your account. 2. Click on the Enroll Now icon. 3. Place a check next to your child's name and click Next. 4. NOTE: If you have more than one child, this will need to be done for each child separately. 5. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and choose Site Selection and click Next. 6. In the School Year drop down menu, choose 15-16. 7. Select State of MI, AND from the District drop-down menu type in city or enter zip code 8. Click the Search icon 9. Select your school. 10. Choose the program your child will attend. 11. Select the days you wish to attend. This will secure your spot. 12. Click on Next and continue the enrollment process. Update any and all information necessary. After you complete enrollment, you will receive a confirmation email from us a few days later with instructions about your child's first day.
