Finance Society Executive Board Responsibilities *Note: In addition to individual responsibilities of each position, the officer team is expected to collaborate and work with the finance department heads in achieving the needs and goals of the finance department as a whole. Additionally, the officer team is expected to be the main support group in organizing and running F-Day—This includes helping at the upcoming F-Day on April 21st. President: • Oversee all operations of the organization • Serve as a student representative on the Finance Advisory Board • Complete the yearly club registration process • Facilitate and organize Finance Society meetings o Employer information sessions, recruiting/networking events, professional speakers, career workshops, etc. • Participate as a member of the Terry President’s group • Participate in Terry Club Budget meetings • Overall, serve as a voice and representative for all members and finance students o Responsibilities can change and mold to meet these needs Vice President of Finance • Update current member roster and add new member applications to the listserv • Deposit associated membership fees and maintain bank account records • Create Society Newsletter’s throughout the year • Manage email inquiries from current and potential members • Order and pick up pizza for meetings Vice President of Administration • Update and maintain the Society’s website o Requires a willingness to learn how to deploy a new website (it is not complicated) o The previous V.P. of Administration will still be attending UGA through Fall 2017 and is willing to help whenever necessary • Write and send emails and social media posts to the members pertaining to upcoming events and important updates • Create and manage RSVP posts for the upcoming events • Reserve meeting rooms through the University for the entirety of the semester Available Positions 2017-2018: PRESIDENT VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE VICE PRESIDENT OF ADMINISTRATION
