Knights, but rumors continued to persist that they were still alive. Ten years later, the Holy Knights staged a coup d'état and captured the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. The third princess, Elizabeth, then starts out on a journey to find the Seven Deadly Sins and enlist their help in taking back the kingdom. To celebrate our last meeting of the school year, we’ll spend the second half of the meeting making Candy Sushi!

On this Wednesday, we'll be having an informal game of soccer outside behind the library. Teens will get a stamp in their summer reading log for taking part in this event. Please note: Be sure to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Since this event is outside, it is also weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled. If the weather looks threatening, please call the library before coming. You can register for this event online.
Battle of the Books Informational Meeting Wednesday, June 29th, 7:30-8:30 PM Suffern Room If you’re going into grades 6-12 next year, you can join other pre-teens and teens from the Ramapo Central School District on our Battle of the Books team! What is Battle of the Books? It’s a fun competition that lets you win prizes by reading books and answering questions about them! How can you join? Contact teen librarian Jennifer C to sign up and I’ll give you books to read (which can also be used for your summer reading logs). We’ll read and discuss them at meetings over the summer, then go to the actual Battle of the Books in September to get goodie bags and vie for cash prizes. If you’re still not sure, come to our first meeting and see what we’re all about!
