Bachelor of Science in FORENSIC SCIENCE Following is the typical pattern for completing the requirements for the major in Forensic Science in 4 years. Courses do not always have to follow this exact pattern, but variations from it should be planned carefully with your faculty advisor. Therefore, as you enroll for your freshman year, you should plan your schedule for your remaining years, making certain that you include these courses in your schedule in the semester in which they are available. For example, if CHEM-2113 is not offered your sophomore year, take CHEM-2113 in your freshman year.

Recommendations as follows: for Toxicology-related career/graduate school: BIOL-3115, BIO-3224, and/or BIOL-3435 for DNA-related career/graduate school requires: BIOL-2314, BIOL-4223, and BIOL-4301 for Psychological Forensic Science /graduate school : PSYC-3313, PSYC-3913, PYSC-4413, and PSYC-4423 for Forensic Chemistry: MATH-2114 and CHEM-4613
BS Flex Electives, BS majors in the Forensic Science must take 4 of the following 5 areas: 3 hours of Behavior Science, 3 additional hours of Great Works, 3 hours of Western Civilization, 3 hours of Non-Western Civilization, and 3 hours of Liberal Arts.
