Student Internet Permission Form   ​ Homeroom Teacher____________________________  In order to prepare our students for the global 21st century workplace, we embrace online tools for  learning as a means to teach our students strong communication skills, collaboration skills, creative  thinking and digital citizenship.  Parents of high school students do not need to return this form unless they wish to deny internet  access.    Please only select one box:    ❏ I grant permission​  (check box) for my student to access the internet and Google Apps for  Education.    ❏ I ​ deny permission​  ​ (check box) ​ for my child to have access to Google Apps for Education. By  denying access to Google Apps for Education, I understand that this choice could impact my  child’s educational experience in the classroom.  My child will still be allowed internet access.    ❏ I ​ deny permission​  ​ (check box) ​ for my child to have access to the internet, which includes Google  Apps for Education. This does not include state‐mandated testing and specific district required  sites. ​ The Duluth Public Schools will assume your child has your permission to use the Internet  at school unless this letter is returned to your child's school.    See additional information included with this form about Google Apps for Education.  If you have further  questions, feel free to contact the school office or the technology department. Additional forms can be printed  from our webpage at ​ www.isd709.org​  . Click on For Parents on the right hand side and choose Forms from the  menu on the left. Look for the Student Internet Permission Form.
