Artful Activism uses creative tactics to educate and entertain people and engages them around an issue and builds community. We’ll start with paper mache masks and build from there to large puppetry to storyline creation and performance. Our goal will be to create an engaging puppet theater that will be part of the Procession of the Species in April. Please bring materials and tools for paper mache like cardboard, scissors, masking tape, newspaper, balloons, some materials provided

We’re going to sew our pages together, and share different methods of binding books. Bring your glue guns if you have them, and an elastic Mind-set. We’re binding the world, one page at a time! I have extra leather needles for you! No biggie.

Have you always suspected this was not quite true... that there is much more depth to haiku than that? Well, you were right! Come and join us! Reading, writing, and sharing our poems in a supportive and friendly community setting. We will work together to educate ourselves about haiku and related forms of poetry. If weather isn’t permitting, we’ll find somewhere else to meet.
