Free Summer Concert Series Gets New Sponsor The Fairfax County Park Foundation is honored to announce that TD Bank is a Presenting Stars sponsor of the Fairfax County Park Authority’s 2014 Summer Entertainment Series for Hunter Mill Melodies, Nottoway Nights and Spotlight by Starlight. Hunter Mill Melodies concerts are held at Frying Pan Farm Park and supported in partnership with Hunter Mill District Supervisor Cathy Hudgins. Nottoway Nights concerts are held at Nottoway Park in cooperation with Providence District Supervisor Linda Q. Smyth. Mason District Supervisor Penny Gross hosts Spotlight by Starlight at Mason District Park. “TD Bank is excited to sponsor a series that exposes people to a variety of musical acts from all over the world,” said TD Bank Market president Terry Kenny. “We feel it is important to invest in our communities, and the 2014 Summer Entertainment Series is a positive, fun way to spend the day.” “We are delighted to welcome TD Bank as a major sponsor of the Summer Entertainment Series and look forward to an ongoing partnership with this first-time supporter of the popular series,” stated Roberta Longworth, executive director of the Park Foundation. Summer concert series begin in early June. More than 200 performances are presented at no cost each summer throughout the county.
