General information Criminology, Private Security and Criminalistics Files aims to disseminate criminal, forensic and criminological areas. Invites researchers, teachers and students to send their contributions to be assessed. You can send contributions on current issues or classics. Works may be integrated into the sections that make up the journal in accordance with the following criteria: Dossier. No extensive briefing papers, seeking to explain, supplement or to present a topic. Articles. Theoretical or applied works that contribute to disseminating the issues, problems and discussions. Reviews. Review of any significant, national or foreign bibliographic news. Memories. Refer to relates about congresses or similar. At least 75% of contributions published in each issue must be results original product of scientific research, as well as other significant original contributions to the area of the journal. Contributions must be written in clear language, didactic and accessible, to readers with vocational training, but also with advanced terminology articles are accepted. The journal reserves its copyright for distribution and reproduction of materials therein to accept an article for publication. A letter of rights transferred will not be sent and the authors that get publishes acknowledge they are aware of this policy and are warned before publication. External evaluators In the event that the National or International Committee evaluators are unable to review the articles due to their profession, temporary external evaluators will be designated, based on their experience of: books, articles and conferences. Mendeley (United Kingdom) Evaluation a) Any article must be original, and not be published in another journal or in process of revision; b) Peer review articles under the dual blind system, from which its results will be anonymous. c) The dictamination will have the following results: not publishable, publishable but with modifications and publishable. The process won’t last not more than 3 months this process. d) The evaluation process of the articles consists of a preliminary evaluation by the editorial committee in order to qualify previously the document in terms of form, content and compliance with standards of publication.
