Giving Access to Parents request to Accelerated Reader (AR) 1. Login to AR with LCA or Teacher Credentials

2. Click on “Access requests-Parent” as Shown Below

3. Click print all 4. Click on users as shown below

5. At the Personnel, Students and Parents window, click on “Add Parent” at the bottom

6. Fill Name and Last name of Parent. Leave blank username (System will auto generate one). Type “parent123” as a temporary password and check the box “user must change password at next login”

7. Once the parent is added and selected, use the Edit Children feature to select each child.

8. Search for Child within school using the search box and the assign to parent.

9. Send credentials to parent through email.
