The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. Our work in the arts revolves around building strong relationships between artists, producers, festivals, venues, curators and directors in the UK and India. We work with partners to develop and curate exciting projects in theatre, dance, music, visual arts, museums, literature, design, film and more. We are recruiting for the following posts in India.
Head Arts Programmes India Delhi The person, reporting to Director Arts, will develop and manage the implementation of the Arts programme for India. The applicant will have to develop relationships with key stakeholders across the arts sector in India and UK and work to increase the profile and impact, manage finance and risk, and secure partners and sponsorship.
Senior Manager Arts 4 positions – one each in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai The person will manage and implement Arts programmes aligned to the British Council’s strategic objectives and will have to:
