Finding Your Computer or Mobile Devices MAC Address A MAC (Media Access Control) address is a number that identifies the network adapter on your computer or mobile device. The address is composed of 6 pairs of characters separated by colons or dashes. You need to provide your MAC address to identify you as an authorized user on the NATCA WiFi network. iOS (iPhone or iPad) Open Settings App
Tap General Tap About
MAC Address is displayed as “Wi-Fi Address”
Android (Samsung, Motorola, HTC, LG) Most Android phones and tablets have a “skin” or manufacture customized interface. Your phone or tablet may vary from the instructions below.
From the Home Screen, tap Menu Key Goto, Settings Tap Status Scroll down MAC Address is displayed as “Wi-Fi MAC address”
MAC OS X Open System Preferences Click Network
Click Advanced
MAC Address is Displayed
Windows 7 From your system tray, click the network Icon.
Click Open Network and Sharing Center
Click Local Area Connection
Click Details
MAC Address is displayed as “Physical Address”
Windows ‘CMD Prompt’ Method You can use this method on any version of windows
Type,
‘CMD’ Type, ‘ipconfig /all’
The following screen is displayed MAC address is displayed as “Physical Address” under the Wireless LAN Header.
Be sure you are getting the Wireless Adapter MAC and not the Wired Adapter.
